Tenets of Faith

Inspired Scriptures

The Holy Scriptures, the Bible, is the inspired Words of God the Father and is a revelation from Father to man: the infallible rule of faith and conduct and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Tim. 3:15-16; 1 Pet. 2:2).

One Creator

There is one Creator God, who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM”; and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, i.e., as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isa. 43:10-11: Matt. 28:19).

Trinity

The Savior, Jesus Christ, is Creator, the Son. Like the Father and the Holy Spirit, Jesus is fully Creator, but He is also fully man. He existed eternally as Creator with the Father and the Spirit and became a man when He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross as a substitute for sinners. He was the just and righteous One who died on behalf of those who are unjust and unrighteous. Because of His sacrifice, everyone who believes in Him is justified and considered righteous in the sight of Creator. He also physically rose from the dead after three days in a tomb. Today He lives in Heaven at the right hand of Creator the Father where he represents believers like an advocate and intercedes on their behalf. One day, He will come again to earth to establish His government of righteousness and peace. (John 1:1-18; Philippians 2:1-11; Luke 1:36-38; 1 peter 3:18; Hebrews 2:9; Romans 5:9; Acts 2:23-24; Hebrews 8:1; Matthew 26:64; 1 John 2:1-2; Romans 8:34)

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. Like the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is fully Creator. He is sent from the Father and the Son to live within the souls of Believers in order to guide, teach, and empower them as they follow Jesus Christ in this world. He also acts to convince the world of its guilt regarding sin, and of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and of the judgment of Satan, the prince of this world. (John 14:15-18; John 16:13; Acts 1:9; John 16:7-11)

Man, His Fall and Redemption

Man was created good and upright – for God said, “Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness”. But man, by voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Savior. (Genesis. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans. 5:12-21).

The Salvation of Man

We believe that salvation is the gift of God the Father to man. This gift is affected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:4-7)

The Comforter

We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.

We believe that God the Father wants to transform, heal and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.

We believe that we are called to preach the Good News to all nations.

His Return

We believe that our Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised.
