Breakfast and Brotherhood Sessions

Jesus Is the "Rock"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Charles Morgan presents, “Jesus Is the ‘Rock’”, and begins with asking the question, “Are you Spiritually Rock solid with Christ?” As Charles points out, in order to answer that question positively we must first accept Jesus as the very foundation of our faith. Once saved we must strive to always be Rock solid in our prayer life, our decision making, our staying on the course, our faith doctrine, and even in our identity. As Charles concludes, we cannot be defeated if we are fully engaged with Christ, the “Rock."

Jesus Is the "Lamb of God"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ presents “Jesus Is the ‘Lamb of God’” during, which he verifies by Scripture that Jesus willingly became the Lamb of God in order to pay the price for the sin of the world. As Michael points out, that debt that Jesus paid in our place as born sinners was significant in that it was an act of sacrifice, redemption, and mercy, all brought about because of the incomparable and endless love God has for us.

Jesus Is the "Author and Finisher of Our Faith"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ presented, “Jesus Is the ‘Author and Finisher of Our Faith,’” during which he stressed, through Scripture, that Jesus did not just author the faith of His followers, by giving us the Grace to believe, but also sustains our faith by advocating and interceding for us before the Father while also leading us through the process of sanctification. In those ways He is continuously finishing or perfecting our faith. From beginning to end, it is Jesus is both the source and the sustainer of that very faith that He Himself gave us through which, by His Grace, we are saved.
Amen and amen.

Jesus Is the "Deliverer"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

As John Piot points out, a deliverer is one who saves, a description that aptly fits Jesus Christ, because, as the Bible clearly points out, Jesus is the only way to salvation for mankind. If then we are among the saved, we have been delivered to be ambassadors for Christ, as 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 states, and thereby have an obligation to speak the Gospel to the lost. John also finishes with an explanation of the meaning of “evangelism” vs the meaning of witnessing, reminding us that it is the Holy Spirit alone Who embowers us in doing both.

Jesus is the "Judge"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Juan Cerdan-Diaz presents “Jesus is the ‘Judge’”, during which he first establishes, through Scripture, that Jesus is, in fact, One with the Father and the Holy Spirit; three Persons in one God. He then goes on to show, by Scripture, that God the Father actually appointed Jesus as Judge, thereby placing all judgment in the hands of Jesus alone, albeit One with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Juan then reminds us Christians that, because of what Jesus did by His death on the cross and resurrection, we will go through the Judgment Seat of Christ, but are and will never be condemned, but will be declared not guilty. Alleluia! Amen.

Jesus Is "Lord of All

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Mark Kaiser presents “Jesus is the ‘Lord of All’” which he uses as a challenge to the men as to where we are in our relationship with Christ. In the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus lets us know that all authority has been given to Him. Mark points out that, that being the case, Christians need to live our lives accordingly; by making Jesus Lord of every part of our lives.

Jesus Is the "Holy One"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Jesse Harris continued the theme by presenting entitled “Jesus is the ‘Holy One’” during which he demonstrates with Scripture that the second Person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, in God’s Own Word is recognized as the “Holy One” not only by the angel Gabriel and Christ’s own disciples, but even by the demons. Jesse then details what it means to be holy while reminding us Christians that we too must make it our determination to live holy lives.

Jesus Is the Bridegroom

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Charles Morgan continued the theme by presenting entitled “Jesus Is the Bridegroom,” during which He reminded us not only of the special relationship we have with Jesus Christ, but also of how the work Christ did for us on earth bind each of us believers in a covenant of grace which can never be broken. Because we, the Church, are the Bride of Christ, Isaiah 61:10 assures us that we are crowned with the grace of God and with His new mercies. Alleluia!

Jesus Is the "Son of God"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

“Jesus Is the ‘Son of God’, Tim Vibbert presents Bible Verses that show that not only does the Father and Jesus Himself, call Jesus the “Son of God”, but so do Peter the Apostle and Paul, both of whom were common men. As a matter of fact, even the demons know that Jesus is the Son of God, as evidenced in Scripture. For us, faith in Jesus as the Son of God brings salvation and confidence that God hears our prayers, because when we pray we can know that Christ is with us; our Advocate and Intercessor.

Jesus Is the "Word of God"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Tim Vibbert continued the theme by presenting Jack Allison’s presentation in his absence, entitled “Jesus Is the ‘Word of God.’” Tim indicated the importance of understanding how powerful God’s Word is, in that the universe itself was spoken into existence. As Scripture indicates, the Word was there in the beginning, was with God, and was God; and also states that the Word became flesh. If that Word was with God and is God, and also became flesh, we can correctly conclude that Jesus is that Word that is with God; knowing that, with the Triune God, both the Father and the Holy Spirit have always existed as Spirit rather than flesh. As such, indeed Jesus Is the “Word of God."

Jesus Is the "Savior"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

John Piot continued the theme by presenting“Jesus Is the’Savior’”, encouraging all to stay in the Scriptures in order to shore up our faith. If we do so we may receive revelation each and every day as to Who Jesus is. In addition to having the New Testament declaring Jesus as the One and only Savior, Jesus is revealed in every Book of the Old Testament. The entire Old Testament shows us that we cannot satisfy the law but need a the Savior to fulfill the law for us. As John points out, 1 Timothy 1:5 tells us that Jesus came to save sinners. Jesus alone can give eternal life, making Him indeed that “Savior".

“Jesus is ‘Emmanuel'”

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Tim Vibbert continued the theme by presenting“Jesus is ‘Emmanuel'”, during which he uses Scripture to remind us that Jesus, referred to as “Emmanuel”, is indeed always with us. Jesus is the fulfillment of Matthew 1:23, Who the virgin Mary birthed to be the Savior of the world. Jesus is also the living Word, as was he described in John 1:14, Who promises to be with us always in Matthew 28: 20. He is indeed “Emmanuel" (which means “God with us.")

"Who Does God Say Jesus is?: Psalm 23"

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Jesse Harris continued the theme by presenting "Who Does God Say Jesus is?: Psalm 23" Jesse gleans from the Psalm that Jesus, being our Shepherd, is also our Provider, our Healer, our Banner, our Sanctifier, our Shalom, our Righteousness, and our ever present God. Those Who have accepted Who Christ is will experience His goodness and mercy all of their lives and then get to dwell in God’s house forever.

I am the Way, Truth, and Life

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ continued the theme by presenting “I Am the Way, Truth, and Life” during which he he shows how that statement made by Jesus, during the Last Supper, encompasses, not a message of restriction but one that brings great freedom to those that believe what Jesus is saying, and choose to follow Him. It was only by Jesus’ death and resurrection that the Father’s wrath over man’s sin was satisfied once and for; all and Christians have been set free from the power and penalty of sin. John 14:6 is a message of truth that can set you free if you choose to follow Jesus’ way.

The Christmas Story: Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ presented “The Christmas Story: Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” during which he showed with, Scripture, that Isaiah 9:6 is a prophecy of the first Christmas. Michael also demonstrated, with Bible verses as evidence, that Jesus Christ is that “child” and “son” referred to in that verse.

I Am the Alpha & Omega

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Jesse Harris presented Tim Vibbert’s presentation entitled, “I Am the Alpha and the Omega” during which he reminded the men that Jesus indeed is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. By that statement in Revelation 22:13, Jesus is speaking as the eternal Lord, which emphasizes His role as Creator and His role in history and eternity. Jesus is the very source of life with sovereignty over all of creation. The challenge to all of us is to always trust Jesus completely, living with an eternal perspective; finding dour identity in Him.

I Am the True Vine

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Jesse Harris continued the theme by presenting “I Am the True Vine,” during which he explained what John 15:1 means to those of us who are Christ’s disciples. As the Verse states, Jesus is the True Vine and God the Father is the Vinedresser. Listen as Jesse explains the goal of both the Vinedresser and the True Vine in Their relationship with Christ’s followers, referred to as the branches, which is to produce abundant fruit with their lives in order to bring glory to the Father.

I Am With You Always

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ continued the theme by presenting “I Am With You Always,” during which he explained the promise Jesus gives His followers in the Great Commission issued in Matthew 28:18-20, when He says to them, “I am with you always;” and the meaning and rewards that promise has for us Christians today. Jesus lives inside each of His followers through the Holy Spirit. Hear how each of us can rejoice and be bold in our faith because of the assurances which are promised by God in the Scriptures presented by Michael.

I Am the Resurection and the Life

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Phil Morgan continued the theme by presenting “I Am the Resurrection and the Life,” during which he explains in detail the message of John 11:25 and it’s relevance today for those of us who are Christians, and those who are contemplating a decision to follow Christ. That same message of John 11:25 brings that eternal hope that the world needs today as much as it did when Jesus made that declaration

I Am the Good Shephard

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Mark Kaiser, elder at Hope Community Church in Moorestown, continued the theme by presenting “I Am the Good Shephard,” which centers on John 10:11 where Jesus says “I am the Good Shepherd.” Mark talks about how the God Shepherd gives His life for His Sheep, and then goes over the qualities of a "Good Shepherd”, referring, of course, to Jesus. A “Good Shepherd" knows His sheep and calls them by name; leads His sheep to pasture; is motivated by love for His sheep; and watches over the flock for safety. All of these and more, does Jesus for those who are indeed His “sheep."

I Am the Door of the Sheep

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Juan Cerdan-Diaz continued the theme by presenting “I Am the Door of the Sheep,” during which he stresses that we should always remember that Jesus Christ is not only Lord and Savior, but also God; the great “I AM” of Genesis 3:14; and as such, we need to worship Him in a manner that reflects that fact. John 10:7 lets us know that Jesus is the “Door of the Sheep” through which those who belong to Him enter into salvation. When we enter that Door, Christ not only gives us eternal life but an abundant Spiritual life on this earth, providing all of our needs.

I AM the Light of the World

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Tim Vibbert contined the theme by prsenting “I Am the Light of the World”, during which he stresses that Christ tells us in John 8:12 that He Himself is the true source of Spiritual life to this dark and dying world. As Tim explains, when we get to Heaven there will be no need for the sun or the moon because the glory of God will shine forth as the Light, eliminating all need of physical light. Yet while we are in this world, we are to reflect Christ’s Light, just like the moon reflects the sun’s light in this physical world. The moon itself gives off no light, but is just a reflection of the light than the sun supplies. In the same way, we are to reflect the Light of Jesus Christ to this dark and dying world. We do this by following God, showing kindness and compassion toward others, doing the good deeds for which we are assigned to do, and encouraging others with the hope that only Jesus Christ gives as “The Light of the World."

I AM the BREAD OF LIFE

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Michael More’ continued the new season’s theme, by presenting “I Am the Bread of Life", referencing throughout this presentation the Gospel of John 6. It is in this chapter that Jesus identifies Himself as “The Bread of Life”, the One that the Father sent down from Heaven to give life to the world. Watch as Michael gives a detailed comparison of the manna that God sent down from Heaven to sustain the Israelites as they wandered through the wilderness for forty years and Jesus Christ Who sustains life for those Who accept Him and eat of His “Bread"; a life that is eternal. Jesus is the living Word of God and the true “Manna” that alone can sustain our lives forever.

I AM WHO I AM

But Who Do You Say That I Am?

Reference to the quote by God from Exodus 3:14. Is cross referenced to the conversation Jesus has with the Jews in John 8:58 (NKJV) when He declares, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Jesus points out the fact that He, being One with the Father, is the same “I AM” that God spoke of to Moses through the burning bush in Exodus 3. That same “I AM” is also “the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End” of Revelation 1:8. Jesus is the self-existent One, the ever present God Who is always with us as our fully sufficient help in our times of need.

Original Session

Founder/CEO Michael More’ delivered the message for the initial Band of Brothers Ministries men’s breakfast. The title of the presentation was “Send Me.” wherein Michael reminded the men that we serve a God that not only calls his followers unto Himself, but calls them with the intent of sending them to do His will. References were used from Isaiah 6 showing how the prophet Isaiah heard God’s call, admitted his own unworthiness, was cleansed by God, and then immediately accepted the mission that God called him to accomplish. Michael’s challenge to the men was to follow the example not only of Isaiah, but that of Jesus Himself Whom God sent to earth to pay the full debt for all sin, in that, when we hear God calling us we need to answer, “Here am I; send me.
